On April 23, 2021, President David Wilson announced that all members of the MSU community, including students and employees, returning to campus for the fall semester, are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccine announcement can be found HERE.
- Students and employees must be fully vaccinated (receive their 2nd dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or their single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) no less than 2 weeks prior to the August 1 deadline or no less than 2 weeks prior to their return to campus date.
- Students and employees should plan ahead. Depending on the type of vaccine received, an individual may have to receive their first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least 6 weeks prior to their return to campus date.

To meet the vaccination requirement, all students and employees will be required to confirm their vaccination status. A copy of the COVID vaccination documents provided at the time the vaccine is received must be submitted to Morgan as verification. The University will review requests for medical and religious exemptions to the vaccination mandate, as provided for under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Additional details on requesting such an exemption can be found HERE.
WHERE TO GET VACCINATED
Schedule your FREE vaccine at Morgan State's Community Vaccine Site. The vaccine site is open Friday and Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM. To schedule your appointment visit the State's GoVax site massvax.maryland.gov and select Morgan State University as your preferred site location. Individuals without internet or computer access may make appointments by calling 855-MD-GoVAX (855-634-6829) or by walk-in registration.
Vaccinations are also available through hospitals, local health departments, pharmacies, and mass vaccination sites. The State of Maryland has created a website that allows you to find a vaccination site. This information can be found HERE.
